Artsy, Spirited, Alive

Bordered by Interstate 80, Keystone, Wells and California Avenues, downtown Reno is undergoing a renaissance. It's a city on the move, with tons of opportunities.

In addition to its world-famous casinos, Reno also harbors a scintillating array of one-of-a-kind bars and eateries, from authentic sushi to grass-fed steak to wood-fired pizza to gourmet mac n' cheese. Hidden in its nooks and crannies, you also find many unique retail shops to explore.

The centerpiece of downtown Reno is the beautiful riverwalk with the Truckee River rolling through. Surrounded by pretty parks, sculpture gardens and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views, there's no better place to spend a summer afternoon, watching the whitewater kayakers go by.

You'll also find a plethora of entertainment options, including the symphony, ballet, museums, movie theater, baseball, bowling and a never-ending stream of world-class entertainers performing in the casino showrooms.

Downtown housing consists mainly of condos, with a few small cottage homes on the outer edges. Prices start in the low $200,000's and go up to well over a million for penthouse views of the snowcapped Sierra Nevada.
