Funky, Fresh, Fabulous

Located south of downtown along the Virginia Street corridor, Midtown is an up-and-coming area with an eclectic collection of retail shops, art galleries, bars and restaurants.

You'll also find an amazing collection of 80 murals painted by local, national and international artists throughout the neighborhood. A perfect weekend activity, you'll enjoy how easy it is to take a self-guided walking tour.

Midtown is home to many events throughout the year, including the annual Midtown Art Walk, the Reno Rodeo Parade, numerous live music events and regular, themed pub crawls, a Reno tradition not to be missed.

Currently, the neighborhood is undergoing an $87 million renovation along its main corridor on South Virginia Street, which should be finished in Fall 2020.

Housing in the area consists of mostly older, cottage-style homes, small multi-family complexes, and the occasional contemporary infill project with beautiful modern lines.

You are also more likely to find mixed-use, live-work space in this neighborhood versus other areas of the city.

Homes are generally on regular city-sized lots, with a few pocket developments of tiny homes grouped on smaller lots. Prices start in the mid $300,000's and can go up to over a million for some multi-family units.
